Towards 2019 Ogun West Needs Blessing To Get Governor, Aspirant Seeks Prayers Of Royal Fathers

A governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prince Adeleke Tella, has said royal blessings and support should be courted to ensure success of Ogun West’s quest to produce a governor in 2019.
Tella, who hails from Ilaro in Yewa South, said the Awujale of Ijebu & Paramount Ruler of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Adetona, Alake of Egba & Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo and Olu Of Ilaro And Paramount Ruler Of Yewaland Oba Kehinde Olugbenle have roles to play to help Yewa residents achieve their dream of producing the next governor of Ogun.
The prince, who said he wants to succeed Governor Ibikunle Amosun, spoke with The Nationat Ilaro before formally declaring his aspiration to participate in the governorship race.
The founder of Tribute Television pledged to tackle hunger, create 3,000 jobs within the first 100 days through agriculture, and another 3,000 from the creative industry, if elected governor in 2019.
He hailed Amosun for declaring to work for actualisation of Ogun West agenda and his Rebuilding Mission.
Tella promised not only to consolidate on the governor’s achievements but also move the state further on the path of growth and development.
He said: “Whoever must take the baton from our governor must also be bold, focused and be highly innovative to consolidate on what has been gained and continue to do more.
“The person must be able to manage great change, must be highly disciplined, must be proactive and be able to add strategic value to the state. I am prepared and ready. I am the right choice!
“I know the challenges facing Yewa and the rest of the state. Through my wide consultation of over six months, I know exactly what needs to be done. I want to assure that I will not disappoint the people of Ogun State. Let’s tell our people that there is money in agriculture.
“The next billionaires in Nigeria will come from agriculture and agriculture processing industries. This is a sector I am ready to promote with good policies and actions, if you choose me. I am good to go.
“Let me assure the party that I have utmost respect for the party’s organs. I have no doubt about the present strength of the party and the labour of the members from the unit to the state. I am ready to cooperate with the party and work to maintain and foster more unity so that the party organ will prosper greatly.”
Omooba Aderibigbe Adeleke Tella was born on May 8, 1969 byLate Prince Moses Adesola Tella of Tella Agbenuaran Ruling House in Ilaro-Yewa and Late Madam Adedoyin Olurin who hails from Olukogbon Ruling House in Ilaro-Yewa.
He started his educational pursuit at African Primary School, Ilaro-Yewa and preceded to Anglican Grammar School, Ilaro-Yewa, and he later went to Yewa High School, Ajilete in Ifekowajo L.C.D.A of Ogun State. He graduated from Federal Polytechnic,, Ilaro-Yewa with Higher National Diploma in Accountancy in 1995.
Omooba Aderibigbe Tella is an Associate of the Institute of Chattered Economics.(ICEN) He was admitted to study Legal Studies at the Faculty of Law, Lagos State University and bagged Masters in Legal Studies with specialization in International Law and Diplomacy in 2011.
He served with African Petroleum, Broad Street Lagos and was engaged on a departmental contract thereafter. The African Petroleum days was an eye opener to Omooba Aderibigbe Tella in terms of administrative intelligence and dynamics of resources application to achieve targeted objective.
Omooba Aderibigbe Tella started business with almost no working capital, but with dint of hard work and resolve to make a mark as a business man, he became CEO to a number of companies which include Holycrown Tributes Limited, an innovative and creative company in the Nigerian entertainment industry; Tributes Television, a cable digital transmission entertainment television on the platform of Play TV Digital Dish; Tributes Estate & Properties Limited, a real estate company; Mr Tributes Foods, an Agricultural packaging venture and Telbros Investment Limited, a logistic and general investment company.
He started his political career 17 years ago and really under political tutelage of prominent political leaders; some of them are of blessed memory. He contested for Federal House of Representatives in 2006/2007.
It was a triumphant outing as the political atmosphere was electrified considering the high level acceptance enjoyed from the people, but the party leadership made an appeal to return the then representative.
Omooba Aderibigbe Tella had also expressed interest in certain political offices and has had to lower his sail to the leadership of the party and its position on candidacy. His political experience cuts across several positions he had maintained.
Omooba Aderibigbe Tella was a member of Action Congress of Nigeria(ACN) which later became All Progressive Congress(APC), the ruling party. He was the Coordinator, Door to Door Ambassadors Group for the re-election campaign of Governor Ibikunle Amosun in Ogun State. He was also appointed the Coordinator of the Ogun-West campaign team for Buhari/Osinbajo 2015 Presidential campaign.
A visionary and challenge-driven individual, Omooba Aderibigbe Tella is a change initiator with natural persuasive communication skills, a distinguished personality with keen ability to energize and inspire individuals to work towards a common goal and talented with special vigour and inspiration to create consensus among divergent groups.
Since 2006 Omooba Aderibigbe Tella have bankrolled the following empowerment initiatives: Skill empowerment for two people in each twenty-two (22) wards of the Yewa/Ipokia Federal Constituency; Skill empowerment initiative for the youths in Yewa South LG in 2011, Empowerment of women and the elderly in Yewa South LG in 2011 and renovation of the then ACN party secretariat.
In creating a platform for mothers for expression and development, Omooba Aderibigbe Tella convened the Wura Mother Initiative. This initiative has succeeded in the area of women and children development thus catalysing family and community development; He is also the convener of OmoobaTellla Food Foundation.
Omooba Aderibigbe Tella have a passion to liberate, educate and create positive impact as well as probing the weakness of the people through intimate appraisal of individual challenges. He is a strong advocate of individual and general capacity building of people through forums, investing in acquisition of skills and ideas with a view to generate jobs, promoting businesses and creating wealth that will boost economic growth in the immediate environment.
