Owo Bubbles As Oba Ogunoye Performs Final Traditional Rites, Holds Iwuye September 8

The final traditional rites of the Iwuye ceremony of His Imperial Merjesty, Oba Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye III, the Olowo of Owo Kingdom took place on Saturday September 7, 2019.at the Owo Palace, Oke Oja, Owo, Ondo State.

The colourful and interesting traditional ceremony at its best was graced by creme of the society from all walks of life, including sons and daughters of the ancient town of Owo in Ondo state.

According to Engr. Yomi Dowole, and Engr. Segun Azeez, both indigenes of Owo town, the Iwuye ceremony comes up on Sunday September 8, 2019 at the Owo Palace, and it’s expected to be attended by the Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu among a host of other invited guests from within and outside Nigeria.
