Odogbolu LG Chairman, Onakoya Presents Face Masks To Market Men/Women

ODOGBOLU: In order to curtail and contain the ravaging Coronavirus disease, the Chairman, Transition Committee of Odogbolu Local Government, Hon. Obafemi Onakoya, has presented about Five Thousand face masks to the market men and women, in the local government area.

According to a press release e-signed and made available to StarTrend Int’l magazine & www.startrendinternational.com by Lateef Idowu, Information officer Odogbolu local government, the distribution, according to Hon. Onakoya, was to complement the existing precautionary/preventive measures against COVID-19 pandemic, like, regular washing of hands with running water, rubbing of hands with sanitizers, physical/social distancing, stay at home government directive, amongst others.

The market leaders, in their reactions, expressed gratitude to the Chairman and members of the Transition Committee, for their concerted efforts to curb the spread of Coronavirus disease, in the LG area, pledging their supports for the progress and success of both the State and Local governments, in all ramifications.

The sensitization/distribution exercise, apart from the Chairman and his members, equally involved the Director and members of the LG Water and Environmental Sanitation Department (WES).
