Lockdown Palliative: Sagamu LG Boss, Banjo Distributes Food Items, Appeals For Fairness

In a bid to ensure even distribution of relief materials allocated to Sagamu Local Government, by the Ogun State government, the Chairman of the LG Transition Committee, Hon. Gbenga Banjo (Baruwa), while distributing part of the palliative items, appealed to members of the Relief Materials Distribution Committee, comprising of Baales, Community Development Council, Iyalojas & babalojas, to always make fairness and transparency their watch words, in the distribution of the relief materials.

According to a press release e-signed and made available to StarTrend Int’l magazine & www.startrendinternational.com by Demehin A.O, Senior Info. Officer, Sagamu Local Government, the committee which was inaugurated last week, by the chairman, was asked to discharge their duties diligently by ensuring that the food items were given to the poor and the vulnerable, in line with the set goals of the state Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, at making life convenient for the people while the stay at home lasted.

Hon. Banjo made the appeal while was personally taken stock of three thousand, seven hundred and fifty, (3,750), parks of food items, allocated to the LG.

Considering the urgency required to distribute the palliative materials to the downtrodden,  the chairman wasted no time, in taking charge of one thousand, three hundred (1,300) parks of food items, for immediate distribution to the deserved members of Sagamu community.
