Engr Akintomide Advices Teachers, Parents To Inculcate Into Their Children Good Morals, Culture

The Chairman/Chief Executive of Tommy Toaks Ltd., Engr. Yinka Akintomide, the Chairman of Afolabi Olabimtan Foundation has enjoined both the teachers and parents to endeavor to inculcate into their children good morals and culture with a call to people to support the A. O. F through their generous donation.
Engr. Akintomide, fondly called Tommy made this statement while addressing the gathering at the 2017 Afolabi Olabimtan Foundation Scholarship Awards Ceremony held on Friday October 27, 2017 at the Table-Tennis Hall of the Recreation Club, Ilaro, headquarters of Ogun West.
He disclosed that he has also benefited from Late Sen. (Prof.) Olambitan’s good gesture when was alive, adding that he will continue to support the survival of the foundation.
He took a swipe on some parents who indulge in encouraging their children to dress indecently, saying, ‘‘Parents should be held responsible for the decay in our society today, because some parents have turn their children to masters and now abdicate their responsibility as fathers and mothers to rice and beans’’
Engr. Akintomide also lamented on the indiscipline in some schools today adding that teachers should not abdicate their responsibility as an idea and image molder of our children.
‘‘Our teachers should wake up to inculcate discipline into their students, so that these kids will become a responsible people in the future.’’
