Ventilator Invention: Hon Bolanle Ajayi Rallies Support For FedPoly, Ilaro, Describes Institution Best In Nigeria

ILARO-YEWA: Hon (Mrs.) Lateefat Bolanle Ajayi, member, representing Yewa South State Constituency at Ogun State House of Assembly, has assured the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, that she would try everything within her capacity towards ensuring that the state government key in into the invention of ventilator the institution has just invented.

Hon (Mrs.) Ajayi who described the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro as the best institution in Nigeria stated this when she recently paid a courtesy visit to the institution and also commended the research team that invented the standard ventilator.

She noted that, “As a daughter of the soil, you have not only made the Polytechnic proud, but you have made the entire Yewaland proud with this great invention”

The lawmaker who described Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State as a lover of great things and an admirer of the institution would no doubt give his support towards increasing the value of the ventilator in Ogun state.

Hon. (Mrs.) Ajayi also used the opportunity to appreciate the management of the institution for bringing the first radio station to Yewaland through their dynamic efforts and the entire poly community.

She however noted that “It gladdens my heart that this happened during my tenure as a member of Ogun State House of Assembly and also during the reign of, Oba Kehinde Olugbenle, the Olu of Ilaro & Paramount Ruler of Yewaland.”

The lawmaker promised to take a positive step by tabling on the floor of the House, the new invention of the ventilator by the FPI, immediately the House reconvenes.

It was gathered that it took the research team of FPI, drawn from different departments of the institution just seven days to produce the equipment.

The 14 man committee which was led by Engr. (Dr) Samson Odunlami, the Dean, School of Engineering, include other lecturers, technologists/technicians with the school Medical Director, Dr Tunde Jesusina who were the brains behind the success of the project.
