ILARO-YEWA: The newly appointed Chairma, Caretaker Transition Committee, Yewa South Local Government in Ogun West senatorial district of Ogun State, Alhaji (Hon) Dr. Fagbenro Bode Ramon has assured the people of the Local Government of his readiness to provide good and effective administration that would make life meaningful to the people and at the same time fast track the development of the council area.
Alhaji Fagbenro who stated this while speaking with newsmen in his office at Ilaro, appreciated the state Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun for given him the opportunity to serve his people, adding that he would make good use of the opportunity by transforming the local government to an enviable one.
According to him, “the people of Yewa South will enjoy good administration from me. It is through good administration that our people can enjoy dividend of democracy and development of the local government which I am ready to provide.
“I want to use this opportunity to thank our dear Governor, Prince Dapp Abiodun for the opportunity given me to serve my people. It is a privilege. I promise to make good use of it by providing dividend of democracy to our people in Yewa South Local Government and transform the local government to the one that will be the envy of others in the state”.
The Transition Chairman while admonishing the council workers to be disciplined and dedicate themselves to the work and progress of the local government, Hon. Fagbenro enjoined people of the area to give him and his team adequate supports and cooperation needed to achieve success in office.
Alhaji Fagbenro who expressed his displeasure on the current situation of the council secretariat and its environ said, “I hope everything will be fine in due course, because the situation in the local government secretariat is not encouraging, but by the time we start, we will know how to go about it”.
