The Oracle Nigeria Country Managing Director, Mr. Adebayo Sanni has commended the concerted efforts of Chief Temitope Ajayi, the Chairman/CEO of SV-NED, USA and Ms. Denise Williams, Vice President/Co-Founder of SV-NED Inc in their quest to empower the Nigerian youths and entrepreneurs thorough SV-NED Immersion Programme.
Mr. Adebayo who was represented by Mr. Lemy Dipor, the Sales Tech Director of Oracle Nigeria said this on Monday April 29, 2019 at the presentation of Certificate of Participation to some participants who took part in the 2nd Silicon Valley – Nigeria Entrepreneur Development (SV-NED) Immersion Programme which took place between February & March 2018 at Oriental Hotel, Lagos.
The ICT specialist disclosed that during the training session, participants received lectures from experts in ICT from Oracle Nigeria, saying, “I’m happy that participants conducted themselves in a good manner, and the lectures were well taken.
“There’s no doubt in my mind that the 2nd SV-NE Immersion Programme have acquired more knowledge and exposure in Oracle IoT, Blockchain, AI and Chatbots that will make them to face any challenges in ICT,” Adebayo posited.
Adebayo however congratulated participants in the Oracle IoT, Blockchain, AI and Chatbots session to always demonstrate the knowledge acquired during the training in their businesses or any establishment they might fond themselves.
He however used the opportunity of the event to called on other Nigerians to use their positions the training of the youths in ICT, adding “ICT is now the in thing in the world.”
“I urged every sphere of government, corporate and individual establishments in the country to use the opportunity of the facilities at Oracle Nigeria to train and retrain their staffers in the latest world of ICT”, Adebayo posited.
In his vote of thanks on behalf of the participants, Elhadj AbuSatar Idowu Hamed, the Publisher/Editor-in-Chief of StarTrend Int’l & www.startrendinternational.com, expressed their gratitude to God for making the 2nd SV-NE Immersion Programme and the presentation of certificate of participation a huge success.
Hamed also thanked the facilitators of the programme which include Chief Temitope Ajayi (Chairman/CEO, Silicon Valley Nigeria Economic Development SV-NED), Mr. Adepegba Oduntan (Initiative Manager, Sub-Saharan Africa, Oracle Nigeria and his team), Ms. Denise Williams (President/Co-Founder, Silicon Valley Nigeria Economic Development SV-NED) and HP Nigeria.
Others are Mr. Hayden Williams (Vice President, Silicon Valley Nigeria Economic Development), IBM Nigeria, Prof. Sam Haddad (a Professor Emeritus of Stanford University, USA), Mr. Sam Washington (an Executive of MPSPG, USA), Mr. Miguel Casillas (Executive Director,Menlo Park, California, USA), GTI and Nigerian Stock Exchange for their their concerted efforts towards making the programme a reality.
He prayed that God shall continue to guide and protect everyone of them.
Participants were later presented with their certificate one after the other by Mr. Lemy Dipor. They include Mr. Adelowo Adebumiti, Mr. Akintoye Adeniyi, Elhadj AbuSatar Idowu Hamed, Mr. Ademola Olaife, Mr.Nwogu Success Uzodinma, Mr. Ademola Adetumininu Joy, Mr. Maxwell Olusegun Njarika, Mr. Oludare Shokunbi and Mr. Adeyinka Adeleke Ezekiel among others.
