Ogun NCWS President Calls For Unity Among Women

ABEOKUTA – Women interest groups in Ogun State have been urged to embrace teamwork in advancing the cause of women in the areas of politics, economy family values and social welfare.

The President National Council of Women Societies (NCWS), Ogun State Chapter, Mrs Aishat Adeyiga made the call when she received the State Executives of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), led by the Chairperson, Mrs. Modupeola Sobukonla in Abeokuta.

Mrs. Adeyiga said women would attain their full potential and would not be regarded as second class citizens if they combined their financial and material resources to achieve set objectives.

Earlier, The State Chairperson, of NAWOJ, Mrs. Modupeola Sobukonla said the association was ready for relevant collaborations to enhance the capacity of women, children and other vulnerable groups in the society.
