OGSG LAUDS NDIC FOR COMMISSIONING PAEDIATRIC UNIT IN GENERAL HOSPITAL, AYETORO-YEWA

ABEOKUTA – The Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has lauded the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) for its ingenuity for keying into its administration qualitative health care services.

According to a release e-signed and made available to StarTrend Int’l & online – www.startrendinternational.com by Lateef Akintunde, Zonal Information Officer, Yewa North Local Government, Prince Dapo Abiodun who was represented by his Chief of Staff, Alhaji Shuib Salis stated this while commissioning the newly constructed Paediatric Unit at the General Hospital, Ayetoro-Yewa, Ogun State.

Abiodun noted that, the Paediatric Unit inaugurated by the NDIC would complement the attention of the government in the health sector which include renovation of Primary Health Centre across 20 LGs in the state, provision of two Molecular Laboratories to boost the state’s testing capacity for covid-19 and other epidemiological diseases, launch of National Hypertension Control Intuitive (NHCI) in order to reduce the burden of hypertension in the state and many others.
