ABEOKUTA – The Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has named more Chairmen and Members of Boards and Commisions of government’s agencies.
The Governor also names more six Senior Special Assistants.
This was contained in a statement issued in Abeokuta, the State capital on Thursday, August 13, 2020 by Abiodun’s Cheif Press Secretary, Kunle Somorin and made available to StarTrend Int’l magazine & www.startrendinternational.com.
According to the statement, the appointees were drawn from across all the political parties in line with the administration policy to promote inclusiveness, merit and experience in its quest to building a peaceful and a more prosperous future for citizens of the State
It stresses that Governor Abiodun had repeatedly promised a wholesome approach to governance and stressed his resolve to appoint people from diverse experience backgrounds as political appointees towards re-engineering the State and to ensure poverty alleviation and wealth creation among the people.
The appointees were appointed into the boards of various establishment, including Ogun State Television (OGTV), Ogun State Printing Corporation and Ogun State Water Corporation.
Abiodun also appoited new Senior Special Assistants (SSAs).
The release indicates that Comrade Tunde Oladunjoye will Chair the board of OGTV, Hon. Fatai Sowemimo as the Chairman board of Ogun State Printing Corporation among others.
The new Senior Special Assistant include Popoola Adesina Bolaji, Seyi Odumuyiwa, Bode Edun, Rufai Abidemi, Segun Ojolowo and Afeez Balogun
Governor Abiodun charged the new appointees to be forward thinking in the discharge of the onerous task of moving the State to the next level.
“The Building Our Future Together is more than a mantra. It is a policy thrust that we will leave no stone unturned to actualize. Our inclusiveness is deliberate, because together, we will achieve more and at a faster pace”, the statement said.
