Fidelity Bank Rewards Umuahia Customers With N2.3m

Fidelity Bank Plc , has made five of its customers in Umuahia, the Abia State capital richer with N2.3 million through what it termed as “Fidelity Bank Customers Loyalty Scheme.”

The customers include two primary school pupils, the Abia State chapter of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), and three businessmen.

While the pupils, aged eight and 10 respectively received cheques for N150,000.00 each, the fellowship and the businessmen smiled home with N500,000.00 a piece.

Speaking after the handover of the cheques in the capital, the Umuahia branch manager of the bank, Perpetual Ezumah, said the gesture was a reward for the customers for their loyalty.

“We want to demonstrate to our esteemed customers and the entire people of the state the reality of the scheme which run through our Fidelity Personal Savings Scheme,” she noted.

Explaining that the scheme, like many other similar products of the bank were geared towards the growth of its customers, she added that the bank ranks among the best in the country.

According to her, “Now that both our customers and the people have seen the reality of the scheme, I want to use this forum to appeal to them to make us their first choice bank.”

Speaking earlier, a top management staff of the bank from its headquarters in Lagos, Johnson Akaolisa, said 6,324 customers had benefited from the scheme which commenced about four years ago.

Akaolisa, who maintained that the figure did not include those who benefited in the past few week, added that the bank places the prosperity and growth of its customers above every other considerations.
