Day Ogun First Lady, Bamidele Abiodun, Receives Birthday Charge From Cleric To Serve God, People As Husband Commends Her Role In Filling Gap (+photos)

ABEOKUTA – His Grace, Elder Apostle Jacob Adetokunbo Adeaga, the South West Chairman of the Organisation of Africa Instituted Churches (OAIC), urged Mrs. Bamidele Abiodun, the wife of Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State, to continue her devotion to God, the people, and the state.

This charge was given during the celebration of Ogun State First Lady’s 57th birthday thanksgiving at the Government House Chapel, Oke-Igbehin, Abeokuta.

Delivering a message titled “Unquantified Thanksgiving” and drawing from Psalm 103, Elder Apostle Jacob Adeaga emphasized the immeasurable love of God in one’s life and the importance of expressing gratitude for it.

He commended Governor Abiodun’s performance in his first term and encouraged him to surpass those achievements in his second term.

Prince Dapo Abiodun, the governor and husband of the celebrant, praised his wife for her continuous support and dedication in implementing the state’s ISEYA programme.

He acknowledged her role in filling in the gaps as he serves the people of Ogun State and urged everyone to live a life that positively impacts others.

The governor emphasized the significance of harmony, love, faith in God, and maturity in marriage, which has contributed to the success of their marriage.

In her remarks, the celebrant, Mrs. Bamidele Abiodun, expressed gratitude to God for good health and a sound mind, especially during challenging times.

She pledged to be intentional about her life going forward and thanked her husband for being her greatest supporter.

The thanksgiving event served as an occasion to celebrate the blessings and years lived while expressing gratitude to God.
