Covid-19: Ogun Waterside LG Boss, Onanuga Constitutes Committee

ABIGI-WATERSIDE: The Chairman of Ogun Waterside Local Government Transition Committee, Comrade Femi Onanuga, has set up a five man committee, in order to monitor & enlighten the people on the evil effects of the scourge.

According to a press release e-signed and made available to StarTrend Int’l magazine & www.startrendinternational.com by Prince Soneye Olusegun, Director of Information OWLG, Abigi, Comrade Onanuga in his bid to avert the spread of coronavirus in Ogun waterside local government area, charged members of the committee on the need to educate the people on certain symptoms of COVID-19, such as repeated sneezing, difficulty in breathing, and sudden illness

The chairman who stated this recently at the local government headquarters, further highlighted some of the preventive measures, being taken by his administration, as the creation of two isolated centres at Abigi Town Hall and R.C.M Primary School, Ayede.

Members of the committee inaugurated were the Secretary to the Local Government, Mr. Sulaimon Yekini as the Chairman and Dr. Fayomi Tola – Secretary.

Other members are Directors of Water and Environmental Sanitation, Mr. Adebanjo Abiodun, Community Development, Princess A. Solaru and Prince Olusegun Soneye – Information,.
