IJEBU-IGBO: The Chairman of Ijebu North Local Government Transition Committee, Hon. Jayeola ‘Sola Yekeen, has embarked on sensitization of the LG residents, on the need to always put on face masks outside their residential homes, for the prevention of the spread of Coronavirus disease, through the droplets from an infected person.
According to a press release e-signed and made available to StarTrend Int’l magazine & www.startrendinternational.com by Henry Badmus, Asst. Inf. Officer, Ijebu North LG, Ijebu-Igbo, Hon Jayeola who led the Sensitization/Distribution Taskforce Train through Obada, Atikori and Ago-Iwoye markets, while presenting the face masks, disclosed that the welfare of the people of the state remained a top priority to the government, adding that the efforts of the State Governor Dapo Abiodun, have been tremendous and commendable, in making the State and the people free and save from the scourge of Corona virus .
Hon Jayeola however, advised residents of the LG area to always adhere strictly to the preventive measures, government directive on lockdown, face masks and other guidelines/rules, in place, to control and curtail the spread of the virus, in the LG area, warning that security agents would begin to arrest the defaulters.
