ILARO-YEWA: The Transition Chairman of Yewa South Local Government in Ogun State, Alhaji Ramon Bode Fagbenro has commended the state Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun for recalling contractors back on Owode/Ilaro road in the local government to complete the construction earlier abandoned by the past administration.
The Council boss who gave the commendation while touring the said road with members of his cabinet, said that the road which is a major link to Agbara, Sango-Ota and Lagos State, when completed would boost the economy of the area and the state at large.
According to him, “on behalf of the entire people of Yewa South Local Government, I want to say a big thank you to His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun for recalling contractors back on Owode/Ilaro road. This is in line with his campaign pledge that he will attend to all road projects that was abandoned by the immediate past administration.
“This Owode/Ilaro road is an economic road that link Sango-Ota, Agbara, Lagos State and Idiroko to Cotonou, Tube, Maun and many others, and when completed, it will boost the commercial activities of our people”.
Alhaji Fagbenro enjoined people of the area to exercise more patient and cooperate with workers that are working on the road with assurance that Gov. Abiodun’s led government would further extend more dividend of democracy to the area.
He urged the people of the area to maintain the current peaceful atmosphere in the area and never relent at praying for the success of Gov. Dapo Abiodun led administration in the state.
