ILARO-YEWA: In spite the fact that she has just distributed over 1,500 hand sanitizers to her constituents for prevention from the dreaded coronavirus pandemic, the Honourable member, representing Yewa South State Constituency at the Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. (Mrs.) Lateefat Bolanle Ajayi, has again started to distributes food items throughout the Yewa South local government area of Ogun State.
Considering the urgency required to distribute the palliative materials to the downtrodden, Hon. (Mrs.) Ajayi started the distribution of the palliatives that consists rice, beans gari and soup condiments per each bag on Sunday, April 12, 2020 and was distributed through the respective leaders in the 10 Wards of the Yewa South local government.
The gesture, it was gathered by StarTrend Int’l magazine & www.startrendinternational.com, is being distributed through her foundation – Lateefat Ajayi Foundation, is aimed at complementing Governor Dapo Abiodun led government of Ogun State in its efforts to bring succour to the citizens during the lockdown towards eliminating the spread of Coronavirus disease in the State and Nigeria.
The lawmaker however advised the people of Yewa South Local Government to obey government’s instructions and follow basic personal hygiene habits at all times to curb the spread of the deadly Covid-19 pandemic in the State and Nigeria at large.
Hon. Ajayi who urged her constituents to always wash their hands and stay at home as directed by the government, said the idea of distributing food items to the citizens of her constituents was also to cushion effect of the lockdown which was necessitated by the deadly Covid-19.
Appreciating the kind gesture of Honourable member, the representatives that came for the collection of the packages from the 10 wards of Yewa South Local Government, expressed their gratitude to Hon. Bolanle Ajayi for being so kind, despite she has just given the council area hand sanitizers, she still deemed it fit to support her constituents with food items.
They prayed that God continued to guide and protect Hon. Bolanle Ajayi and her family.
