COVID-19: Odeda LG Boss Sensitizes Residents, Distributes PPE

ODEDA: As part of efforts to curtail the spread of the dreaded Corona virus pandemic, code named COVID-19, the Transition Committee Chairman, Odeda Local Government, Hon. Semiu Bola Lawal, has embarked on sensitization campaign, across the nooks and crannies of the Local Government Area.

According to a press release e-signed and made available to StarTrend Int’l magazine & www.startrendinternational.com by Dele Ogunyemi, Information Officer, Odeda Local Government, Hon. Lawal, while on the campaign trail, revealed that the awareness was necessary, in order to enlighten the people on the need to maintain personal hygiene and other precautionary measures, for the prevention of the devastating multiplier effects of the dreaded disease.

The Chairman, accompanied by the Transition Committee Members and other Principal Officers of the local government, were on sensitisation campaign to Osiele, Gbonagun, Kila and Alogi markets.

In a related development, the local government distributed personal protective equipments (PPE) such as plastic taps, wash hand bowls, hand sanitizers, soaps, gloves and nose masks to all the health facilities across the ten wards of the L.G area and the offices at the Secretariat.
