Sagamu LG Chairman, Banjo Sensitises His People On COVID-19

SAGAMU: The Chairman, Hon. Gbenga Banjo and members of Sagamu Local Government Transition Committee, have embarked on a day sensitisation exercise, towards the prevention of the spread of coronavirus menace, in the local government area. 

According to a press release e-signed and made available to StarTrend Int’l magazine & www.startrendinternational.com by Nofiu Fausat of
Sagamu Local Government, Hon. Banjo, during the sensitisation exercise,  made it known that his government was very much concerned about the well-being of the people living in the L.G area, most especially on heath matters and the ravaging coronavirus scourge.

He admonished the people to avoid handshaking, hugging and other already highlighted precautionary measures, adding that preventive steps were better and essential for the protection of the people.

Earlier, the Director, Primary Health Care, Sagamu Local Government,  Dr. Oyedele had highlighted sore throat, breathlessness, vomiting, nose running and illness, as symptoms of COVID-19.

Oloyede however advised anyone with such symptoms not to hesitate to visit the nearest hospital, for diagnosis.
