Yewa South LG Chairman Promise To Renovate, Develop Sayedero-Ilaro Market, Others

ILARO-YEWA: The Chairman, Caretaker Transition Committee, Yewa South Local Government, Alhaji (Dr) Hon. Fagbenro Olabode Ramon has promised to renovate the dilapidated structures at the popular Sayedero Market in Ilaro, headquarters of the council area.

The Chairman who made the promise during his assessment tour of the market, assured market men and women that he would give them supports and see to their needs towards the development of the market and others within the area.

Alhaji Fagbenro commended the efforts of the market leaders for maintaining peace and smooth running of business activities in the market, stating that he would support their request of making it a daily market.

His words, “on the dilapidated structure in the market and stores, I want to assure you that the structures will be taking care of, because, if it is not maintained, something hazardous might happen and I don’t want such. So we promise to give them support and see to their needs.

“I commend the Iyaloja for her efforts at uniting the people in the market and maintaining the peace. Concerning the upgrading of the market to a daily market, we will try to back them up and see that their dream comes to a reality.”

Responding, the Iyaloja of Ilaro, Alhaja Risikat Bola Idowu, appreciated the Chairman and his team for visiting the market to see its condition and problems confronting them.

She implored the Chairman to help them in the area of security, stating that securing the market was a major need towards the plan of making it a daily market.

Alhaja Idowu who promised that the existing peaceful atmosphere in the market would be maintained, assured the Chairman that the market leaders would give him support while praying that God would grant him the strength and wisdom needed to achieve success in office.
