EFCC Refuses To Release Naira Marley Due To Alleged Overwhelming Evidences

Naira Marley and Zlatan will appear in court alongside other suspects once charges against them have been officially filed.

The EFCC has refused to release Naira Marley even on bail with claims that the anti-graft agency has overwhelming evidence on him. EFCC’s spokesperson, Tony Orilade is quoted to have told reporters that: “There is overwhelming evidence against Naira Marley”.

Naira Marley was arrested alongside rapper Zlatan over a week ago but the latter has been released on administrative bail. Orilade said Zlatan also still has a case to answer despite his release.

“That Zlatan has been released does not mean he has been discharged and acquitted. Naira Marley is still in our custody and will be charged to court soon and we will make the charges known in an official statement soon,” he further told reporters.

Both musicians will appear in court alongside other suspects once charges against them have been officially filed.

Nigerian Entertainment Today will continue to follow the story and bring you updates as they happen.
