E-Money, KCee Pledge Support To Junior Pope’s Family At His Funeral

ONITSHA, NIGERIA – Nigerian billionaire businessman Emeka Okonkwo, known as E-Money, and his brother, singer KCee, have promised to support the family of the late actor Junior Pope.

The actor tragically passed away in April this year after drowning in the Anam River in Anambra State while returning from a movie set. His funeral was held on Friday, May 17, 2024.

E-Money and KCee, who were close to Junior Pope, attended the funeral and pledged to care for his three children until they are grown.

He shared that the actor’s last words, “Na me go train my children,” deeply moved him and KCee, prompting their decision to support the family.

E-Money assured that they would provide for the children’s needs, including food, clothing, shoes, and holidays.

In his speech, E-Money emphasized that their gesture was not for show but out of genuine affection and respect for Junior Pope, whom he described as “like blood.”

He urged attendees to make a positive impact on others’ lives, reflecting on the significance of helping those in need.

E-Money also expressed gratitude to everyone who had shown support and love to Junior Pope’s family.

He highlighted that KCee would act as the godfather to the late actor’s first son and reiterated their commitment to the children’s well-being.

Reflecting on Junior Pope’s untimely death, E-Money remembered the actor’s poignant words on the boat and reaffirmed their dedication to honoring his legacy by nurturing his children..
