POMP AS ALHAJI MUSBAU OSENI BECOMES BAALE OF IDIROKO

IDIROKO-EGBA – The ancient community of Igbenyin settlers of Idiroko in Obafemi Owode Local Government of Ogun State was agog on Saturday, February 13, 2021 when the popular Estate and land Merchant, Alhaji Musbau Oseni installed as the Baale of the town.

The businessman whom many consider as a silent achiever and wellbread in culture and tradition, was considered as the best choice for the position.
Alhaji Oseni’s coronation however brought creme of the society to Lapene, Mowe Ofada in Obafemi Owode Local Government to celebrate with him and the community on the full ccasion.

Observers and guests at the event however agreed that the occasion has rewritten the history of the community as only few people knew that the town was an extension of Igbenyin, one of the prominent communities in Abeokuta.

The event was attended by kings and the Baales from within and outside Obafemi Owode Local Government, with representatives of government institutions and security agencies in attendance.

Among them were Oba AbdulSemiu Ogunjobi, the Olorile of Orile Ifo, Oba Kolawole Showemimo, the Olu of Owode-Egba, Oba Oluseye Ogunwale Adefolu, the Olu of Abisodun and Oba Ademola Edun, the Oni Moko of Mokoloki.

Creme of the society at the event also include Hon. Lanre Jaji of The People’s Parliament, Alhaji Saheed Asan, Chairman Tyre Dealer Association of Nigeria, Abeokuta Chapter, Chief Waheed Olorungbebe Shittu and Chief Sakiru Ademuyiwa, the Baale General of Igbeinland among a host of others.
