ILARO-YEWA: Barrister Biyi Otegbeye, fondly called BOT has described the demise of Obaladi of Afonland, Oba Busari Adelere Adetona (Orimadegun III) as painful, saying, “but we take solace that he is resting in peace with Allah.”

Biyi Otegbe and made available on Saturday, July 11, 2020 to StarTrend Int’l magazine & www.startrendinternational.com by Biyi Otegbeye Media Office, Otegbeye, who is a leader of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State and Founder of “Building Opportunities For Tomorrow”, a philanthropic organisation that cares for the welfare of the citizens noted that news of the passing of Oba Adetona with heavy heart and mourns with the people of Afonland and Imeko-Afon Local government.
“After the initial downcast, my heart has been lifted, and we must give thanks to Allah for the eventful and glorious life of the departed. His life was well spent during which the town witnessed some developments that had impacted on the dwellers”, Otegbeye emphasised.
He prayed God to grant Oba Adetona who transited at the age of 62 after 10 years on the throne, a safe and peaceful passage to Aljanan fridaus, and the guidance to complete hitch free burial rites for him.
Otegbeye committed the Afon community to the hands of God, asking for delivery of wisdom from above to find a new and able replacement in the Palace in a foreseeable future.
He then prayed God to grant the royal family, Olori and children of the deceased the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
