Buhari Mourns Sheikh Haruna Waziri Usman

ABUJA: President Muhammadu Buhari has commiserated with government and people of Sokoto State over the passing of Sheikh Haruna Waziri Usman, aged 96, after a prolonged illness.
According to a press release e-signed and made available to StarTrend Int’l magazine & www.startrendinternational.com by Garba Shehu, Senior Special Assistant to the President (Media & Publicity), Sheikh Usman was the patriarch of the Waziri  Tambuwal family, and Governor Aminu Tambuwal’s uncle.

The President said: “Sokoto State and indeed the nation lost a noble and distinguished scholar.”

President Buhari however prayed that Allah forgive the shortcomings of the community leader and grant Waziri Tambuwal family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
