Ogun Relief Materials: Yewa North LG Begins Distribution Of  Second Batch

AYETORO-YEWA: Second batch of relief materials distribution to the vulnerable has commenced in Yewa-Norh Local Government Area of Ogun State to cushion the effect of lockdown.
According to a press release e-signed and made available to StarTrend Int’l magazine & www.startrendinternational.com by, the Transition Chairman of Yewa North Local Government who is also the Chairman, Distribution Committee, Hon. David Bankole charged the committee members to be transparent during the distribution  excises
Hon. Bankole who spoke through his Transition Secretary (SLG), Mrs. Docass Adediran, also said, Governor Dapo Abiodun has redeemed his promise to support the needy, the aged, the vulnerable, widows, as well as the physically challenged while the COVID-19 lockdown lasts.
He disclosed that stakeholders involved in the distribution comprise clergymen, representatives of market people, Baales, Community Development Committee as well as government officials, urging them to make sure the relief items get to intended beneficiaries.
A member of the committee, the Iyaloja of Yewaland, Alhaja Yemisi Abass commended residents for obeying the stay at home order by the federal government and charged them to always adhere to Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) preventive measures against the pandemic.
On behalf of the beneficiaries, Mr. Jimoh Fagbemi, Mrs. Funmilayo Faleye and Victoria Oladokun thanked the state government for the kind gesture.
