How have the past 15 years been since your father’s death?

Over the past 15 years since my father’s passing, the journey has been better than we anticipated. We initially thought that his absence would lead to everything collapsing, as he was our pillar of strength. However, by the grace of God, everything has turned out well, and we are thankful.

Could you elaborate on your father’s death during the peak of his success?

No doubt our Dad’s passing was very painful and sad at a time his star was shinning. But we find solace in the fact that he was appreciated during his lifetime. We delighted that his impact is still felt even 15 years later.

What qualities or attributes of your father do you feel a sense of absence for?

I particularly miss his leadership skills, his ability to provide for us, and his knack for problem-solving. He was like a shield for his children and those around him, always ready to fix any issue that arose. We deeply miss that aspect of him.

Has any of the children followed in your father’s footsteps as a musician?

No, none of us have followed in his footsteps as a musician. Each of us has chosen different career paths.

Are there any intentions to commemorate your father’s legacy in the Nigerian entertainment industry?

Yes, we have intentions to commemorate his legacy in the Nigerian entertainment industry. We plan to make his work available on modern distribution networks, allowing his intelligence and contribution to the juju music genre to be appreciated by a wider audience.

Tell us about Tunde Ade Olusayo.

I am a young and easy-going man. I am dedicated to growing in my chosen career and using my energy to make a positive impact on my country. I also value spending quality time with my family.
