Yewa Education Summit 2025 Holds April 15 & 16

ILARO-YEWA, OGUN STATE, NIGERIA – The Yewa People Development Council (YPDC) is set to host the Yewa Education Summit 2025, a landmark event dedicated to reshaping the educational landscape of Yewaland under the theme: “Re-positioning Education in Yewaland: Challenges & Prospects.”

The summit will take place over two impactful days – April 15 and 16, 2025 – at the Raheem Oloyo Conference Center, located within the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro. Activities will commence daily from 10:00 am.

This strategic summit is designed to bring together renowned scholars, educationists, and critical stakeholders with the aim of charting a new course for educational development in Yewaland.

The focus will be on addressing existing challenges while exploring forward-looking opportunities.

The summit will be graced by Prince (Dr.) Dapo Abiodun, CON, the Executive Governor of Ogun State, who will serve as the Special Guest of Honour.

The Royal Father of the Day and Chairman of the Occasion is HRM (Dr.) Oba Kehinde Gbadewole Olugbenle, MFR, the Olu of Ilaro and Paramount Ruler of Yewaland.

The Keynote/Lead Speaker for the summit is Prof. Taiwo Edun from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye.

Other distinguished speakers include Prof. Tolu Koyejo-Ogunleye – Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED); Prof. Sherrifdeen A. Tella – Babcock University; Dr. Charlotte Bose Iro-Idoro – Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro and Very Rev. Sunday Orobiyi – Former Principal-General, Yewa/Awori Division.
