LAGOS, NIGERIA – Daughter of the late Herbert Wigwe, former Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) of Access Holdings Plc, Tochi Wigwe, has expressed the profound impact of her father’s passing, acknowledging the significant legacy he leaves behind.
In a poignant tribute shared on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, Tochi reflected on her father’s remarkable qualities, describing him as a dedicated and loving parent who served as a steadfast anchor for their family and friends.

“You constantly inspired me to reach new heights, always reminding me of my potential. Your unwavering support and encouragement shaped who I am today”, Tochi expressed.
Tochi reminisced about her father’s boundless love and guidance, highlighting his ability to turn challenges into opportunities and his unwavering commitment to nurturing relationships.
“Your influence extended far beyond our family circle. You effortlessly convinced my friends to pursue their dreams and aspirations.
“You’ve left behind a void that can never be filled, but you’ve also equipped me with a strong support system and invaluable life lessons”, Tochi recalled.
Expressing her deep love and longing for her father, Tochi shared cherished memories and moments they shared, from playful gestures to meaningful conversations about life.

Herbert Wigwe, along with his wife, son, and others, tragically lost their lives in a helicopter crash on February 10, 2024.
The funeral proceedings commenced on March 4, with the final resting place scheduled for March 9 in Isiokpo, Rivers State.
