Why Court Remands “Zazu” Singer, Portable In Prison

IFO – Magistrate Court in the Ifo Local Government Area of Ogun State, presided over by Chief Magistrate A.S Shoneye have granted bail to the celebrated Zazu crooner – Portable.

Okikiola was on Monday, April 3, 2023 arraigned before the court on a five count charge, related to assault and theft.

On the counts of his charges, the accused pleaded guilty to those charges.

The Chief Magistrate Judge said the offences committed were bailable and granted him bail of N500,000 over assault and theft charges with two sureties, who must reside within the jurisdiction of the honourable court.

The court however ordered that Portable should be transferred to the Ilaro-Yewa Correctional Centre pending the time he could meet up the court requirement for bail.

Meanwhile, the case has been adjourned to April 26, 2023 for commencement of the trial.
