Alhaja Yemisi Abass, made the call at Ayetoro while speaking with newsmen, saying one of the measures to curtain the spread of COVID-19 pandemic was regular fumigation of public places.

Alhaja Abass however commended the commitment of Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun in his quest to sanitise public places and ensure that our environments are free from disease.

She appealed that the fumigation exercise in public places which include market, motor parks, schools, churches, mosques, among others, should be extended to abattoirs across the state.

Iyaloja Abass also commended residents for obeying the stay at home order, charging them to adhere to Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC)’s advice on preventive measures against the global life threatening disease, which according to her, requires joint efforts.
