LAGOS – It’s true that there are men and there are great men whose impact will continue to speak even when they are no more.
One of these great icons in the media and entertainment industry is Ambassador Cornell Udofia, the celebrated Convener of CMC Africa Award of Excellence & Publisher The Gladiators Magazine.
Ambassador Udofia who hails from Akwa Ibom State and resides in Lagos. attended the prestigious citadel of learning – Federal Polytechnic, Oko, Anambra State where he obtained his Higher National Diploma in Mass Communication and Media Studies in 1993.
In his quest for more knowledge, the Cornel proceeded to Daily Times Institute, Lagos State, where he learn printmaking between 1994 and 1996.
A very humble, caring and respectful personality is an epitome of humility.
In his pursuit for excellence, Amb. Cornel has interfaced with many pacesetters in various fields, such as Jim Iyke, Clarion chukwura , Cynthia Agholor, Uche ogbodo, Paul Julius , Mike okri, Ini Edo, Faze, High Chief Mike Ozekhome (SAN), Tonto Dike, Seyi Shay, MC Shakara, Babajide Kolade Otitoju and Ella Mensah from Ghana among others.
Amb. Udofia has won more than 165 local and international awards for himself, and he is still counting.
These include Young Ambassador for Peace 2008; Universal Peace Federation & Youth Federation for World Peace; City people Special Recognition Award of Excellence 2016; City Pride Most Outstanding P R Manager of the Year 2017; Rainbow Hall of Fame Ambassador Award of Excellence 2018 and Man of Activities Award of Excellence 2019 Ghana.
Others are Green and White Human Rights Activist of the year 2021, CSR Events Promoter of the year 2019, Most influential Publicist of the Year Awards from CAMA, Most Outstanding Media Personality and Artiste Manager of Repute by Champions Family International; Canadian Agri-Marketing Association bagged in 2015; ZAFAA Media Outstanding Publics of the Year UK, RIMA Foundation Talents Discovery Manager of the Year, United Nations Peace Ambassador, Classic Merits Awards as the Most Outstanding and Influential P.R and Strategies for 6 consecutive years, etc.

Udofia, the convener of CMC Africa Awards of Excellence which has celebrated thousands of achievers in their various field of endeavors since it debuted in 2016 .
He also chaired the award planning committee organised by Mr Champion Mike Onyekwelu.

On Friday, June 11, 2021 @ NERDC Conference Center, Agidigbi Lagos, the Conveigner of National Media Community Award, ably led by Pastor Joshua Uloko with over 159 Top journalists honoured Amb. Udofia with back-to-back award as the Entertainment Man of the Year 2020/ 2021
