FCT, ABUJA, NIGERIA – The Great Quest Reach-Out Foundation will provide vital support to the residents of Mountain of Fire camp, a settlement of displaced persons in Gwarimpa, Abuja.
This predominantly impoverished community, facing extreme poverty and challenging living conditions, will receive spiritual guidance, skills training, health talks, and counseling.
The Mountain of Fire camp, located near Yahuza Suya, 1st Avenue, Gwarimpa, houses individuals displaced by conflict, economic hardship, and evictions.
Residents include widows, divorcees, single mothers, children, and struggling families. Many lack access to basic necessities such as food, healthcare, education, and potable water.
“The situation at Mountain of Fire camp is heartbreaking,” said Captain Theodore Enahoro, President of the Great Quest Reach-Out Foundation.
“These are incredibly resilient people facing immense challenges. Reports from our Abuja team and videos of the community moved us deeply. We are committed to providing them with the support they need to improve their lives and build a brighter future.”
The Great Quest Reach-Out Foundation’s outreach program will take place on Saturday, March 29th, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Mountain of Fire village camp.
The programme will offer a range of services designed to address the community’s immediate needs and empower residents for long-term sustainability.
