Sports Minister, Sunday Dare To Grace Oyo SWAN Semi Final As He Receives Honour

IBADAN – Sports and Youth Development Minister, Chief Sunday Dare is expected in Ibadan on Thursday, December 16, 2021 to watch the semi final games of the ongoing Oyo SWAN Football Competition.

The competition, lined up among other programmes to celebrate this years Week of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, (SWAN) Oyo State chapter holds at Lummy Turf in Idi-Odo Challenge Ibadan.

Chief Dare while in Ibadan will receive an award of honour from Oyo SWAN in appreciation of his positive contributions to the development of football.

He will be the first Sport Minister in the history of Nigeria to receive such honour from SWAN in his home state.

The Minister, who was earlier expected to declare open the 2021 SWAN Week on Monday, December 13, 2021, but could not make it due to sudden change of his official schedule, has however assured that he will make it this time and attend the SWAN event on Thursday, December 16, 2021 .
