Self-Isolate If You Had Contact With Our Late Staff – FirstBank

LAGOS: First Bank Nigeria PLC has advised customers who had been in contact with one of its staff, Abdullahi Lawal, in Kano State to go for self-isolate themselves.

According to a statement issued by Folake Ani-Mumuney, the Group’s Head, Marketing and Corporate Communications, also stated that it has shut the branch where the deceased worked.

The deceased was confirmed died of Covid-19 on Saturday, April 25, 2020,
The release said: “Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time as we do all that is necessary to support them. We ask that all necessary courtesies be extended to the family, so they can grieve privately.”

The statement added that a precaution response plan as part of measures to help contain the virus has been activated.

It was earlier reported through the family sources on Saturday, April 25, 2020 that the late banker fell ill on Friday, April 24, 2020 and was first admitted at a private clinic.

Late Abdullahi Lawal, it was gathered , who was in his early 50s, was rushed to a private clinic after he suffered high fever, cough and respiratory hiccups without getting medical care.
