Romanus Amuta, New Masquerade Actor Is Dead

LAGOS – Romanus Amuta, the legendary actor who became famous acting as Natty in ‘New Masquerade’ is dead.

It was scooped that the Nollywood actor died at the age of 79 years.

Natty, according to his family died in a hospital on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 after battling a protracted illness.

Born in Ukana in Udi LGA of Enugu State Natty began his media practice working

at Daily Times Newspaper after which he delved into acting.

He came into the limelight after featuring in the “New Masquerade” which was one of the most popular TV series in the 80s.

Amuta is survived by his wife – Cordelia and six children.
