LAGOS: The Publisher/Editor-in-Chief of StarTrend Int’l magazine, Elhadj AbuSatar Hamed has send an “SOS” to the Federal Government of Nigeria to urgently give a matching order to the Minister of Health to quickly order for the purchase of large quantity of safety masks to be distributed freely to schools and citizens throughout the country, apparently to prevent further spread of the deadly Coronavirus-19.
According to a release e-signed and made available to the media by the veteran Journalist, Hamed said some unsrupulous Ngerians are now trying to make quiçk money from the scourge by hiking the price of this item.
Hamed noted that it’s very annoying and aching that some sadists will want to make money from the scourge that nobody knows the next victim.
It will be recalled that the safety mask which ordinarily costs N50 per one now sells for N500, a situation that is not convenient for the poor masses to purchase.
The Publisher appealed to President Buhari to use his good office to hearken to this appeal to safe many Nigerians from being victims of this dreaded decease.
