Hon. Shina Peller, a member of the House of Representatives representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Kajola/Iwajowa Federal Constituency, Oyo State, has congratulated Muslims on the successful completion of Ramadan fasting and Eid-el-Fitri celebration.
In a release e-signed by his Press Secretary, Kola Popoola, and made available to StarTrend Int’l & online – www.startrendinternational.com, Hon. Peller enjoined the Muslim faithful to pray for peace in Nigeria.
According to Kola Popoola, Shina Peller is congratulating fellow Muslim brothers and sisters on the successful completion of 2021 Ramadan fasting, and on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr that was recently observed globally.
He stated further, “The last one month has been a soul-purifying one for most of us, as we engaged our creator day and night, praying and seeking His forgiveness of our sins and misdeeds. It was also a month in which we constantly engaged in one form of good deeds or the other. Now that Ramadan is over, we must not withdraw from doing so.
“More importantly, as we celebrate this year Eid-el-Fitri, let us remember to pray for peace to reign in our land; it is not enough for us to pray only, we must be ready to speak, act and relate with one another peacefully, irrespective of our differences.
“Peaceful coexistence is required for us to progress as a country; there can never be development where there is no peace. We need peace in our land, and to achieve this, we must be tolerant of one another. Treat others the way you would like to be treated, and we will achieve a more peaceful society.
“Once again, Eid Mubarak to us all. May we witness many more of it on earth. Ameen.”
