Pomp As Amosun Empowers Ogun People, Extends Goodies To Ogun West, East (+photos)

ABEOKUTA – The Senator representing Ogun Central Senatorial District, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, held an earth shaking Empowerment Programme on Monday, December 19, 2022.

The event which took place at the Ake Square, Abeokuta was attended by a marmoth crowd that came from across Ogun State.

Various items distributed to people without any string attached included:

1. Mini Bus – 100 buses
2. 2.5 kva Generator – 500 units
3. Deep Freezers – 500 units
4 Computer (Desktop and Laptop) – 500 units
5. Sewing Machine – 2,000 units
6. Grinding Machine – 2,000 units

It would be recalled that the distribution of the items was not limited to members of the political class. Civil societies and bodies like the ROADS, ACOMORAN, The Barber Association, Market Women and Men Association, Student Bodies, Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, The Correspondents Association, Motor Spare Parts Dealers, Motor Mechanics Association, etc, were beneficiaries of the larggess.

According to the observers of the scene, the novel thing about the empowerment programme is that inspite Senator Amosun represents Ogun Central Senatorial District in the Senate, he is magnanimous to include “other Senatorial districts in the State (Ogun West and Ogun East) in his empowerment programme, the first of its kind in the Gateway State.”

Beneficiaries of the larggess were full of praise to the former Governor of Ogun State. They prayed that “God bless Senator Amosun real good.”
