Pastor Alabi Describes Chief (Mrs.) Adenike Akintade Amazon Woman As Guests Eulogise Her @ 65th

ILARO-YEWA, OGUN STATE, NIGERIA – August 28, 2024 – Pastor Deji Alabi JP, Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), has described Chief (Mrs.) Adenike Omolara Akintade JP, the Iya Eto of Ilaro-Yewa, as an Amazon and a kind-hearted woman.

Pastor Alabi made this commendation on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, during the 65th Birthday Thanksgiving Service for Chief (Mrs.) Adenike Omolara Akintade JP, held at her residence, Deo Gratias Villa, Orita Pahayi, Ilaro-Yewa, Ogun State.

Delivering a poignant message about the importance of making a lasting impact in one’s community, Pastor Alabi, referencing Psalm 95, emphasized the value of being remembered for good deeds while alive rather than receiving praise posthumously.

He encouraged the congregation to reflect on the true measure of a life well-lived, highlighting that the lasting impact we make on others defines our legacy.

Pastor Alabi who  is also serving as a pastor at Higher Ground Bible Church. Ilaro-Yewa, acknowledged Chief (Mrs.) Adenike Akintade’s exemplary values and charitable actions, which were commended by numerous guests throughout the event.

On behalf of the Olu of Ilaro & Paramount Ruler of Yewaland, Oba (Dr.) Kehinde Olugbenle, the Elemo of Ilaro-Yewa, Chief Olusegun Bankole, the Elemo of Ilaro-Yewa, praised Chief (Mrs.) Adenike Akintade as a promoter of culture and tradition, endowed with humour, noting that her presence always brings joy.

Oba Olugbenle congratulated Chief (Mrs.) Adenike Akintade on reaching her 65th year and prayed for many more peaceful and fruitful years ahead.

The Thanksgiving service was a grand affair, attended by dignitaries and well-wishers from across the country. Guests and well-wishers eulogized the celebrant, describing her as a “jewel of inestimable value” for her unwavering contributions and virtues in the society.

In her speech, Chief (Mrs.) Adenike Akintade expressed gratitude to God for reaching her 65th birthday, thanking Him for His kindness and mercy towards her and her family.

She also extended her thanks to the royal fathers, chiefs, and clergymen who attended the event, as well as dignitaries from various sectors.

Chief (Mrs.) Adenike Akintade also thanked those who came from different walks of life to celebrate with her, praying that God would bless, guide, and protect them and their families.

The event featured the presentation of a Global Royalty Award from Educraft Global to the celebrant, recognizing her promotion of tradition and culture, as well as her high moral standards.

Also, Master Morenikeji Ebunoluwa Joshua, the celebrated “Youngest Artist in Nigeria,” presented a framed picture of the celebrant.

Dignitaries at the event included members of the Olu Ilaro-in-Council, led by Chief E.A. Sanu, the Ekerin of Olu Ilaro-Yewa; Chief Olusegun Bankole, the Elemo of Ilaro-Yewa; Chief Tajudeen Akinbami, the Ekarun Ilaro-Yewa; Chief Gabriel Ajayi, the Osi Aguro of Ilaro-Yewa; Chief Ebenezer Babajide, the Seriki Ilu-Ata of Ilaro-Yewa; Chief Afusat Odunfa (Iyalode of Ilaro-Yewa and Chief Olubukola Durowoju, the Otun Iyalode of Ilaro-Yewa.

Others were Chief Thomas Lala, the Bobaseto of Ilaro-Yewa; Chief Yemisi Oloyo, the Ita Ewe of Ilaro-Yewa; Chief Sunmola Asiri Abo, the Asoju Egba of Ilaro-Yewa; Chief ( Mrs.) Alaba Adewunmi, the Yeye Ode of Ilaro-Yewa and Chief (Elhadj) Abu-Satar Idowu Hamed, the Otun Baaroyin of Ilaro-Yewa.

Also at the celebration were Chief (Hon) Ogundimu (Baba Yayi); Olori Alaketu of Ketu, who represented Kabiyesi and presented the Global Royalty Award; Agbaigba of Ijaka Oke; Council of Chiefs; Alawowo of Awowo-Owu Kingdom Council of Chiefs; Baale of Gbogidi, Ilaro-Yewa; Baale of Idiisin Ilaro-Yewa; and Baale of Idi-Ota-Yewa.

Pastor Olaniyi Adeyemi brought energy and cultural depth to the event with his heartfelt recitation of the celebrant’s Oriki (praise poetry). His performance added a traditional and emotional touch, captivating the audience.

Meanwhile, Engr. (Pastor) Adebowale from the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Ilaro Area, expertly anchored the programme. His smooth and engaging style earned the admiration of the guests, ensuring the event ran seamlessly.

Renowned musicians performed a captivating medley of juju music, enhancing the celebratory atmosphere.

Pastor Alabi’s inspiring words and the heartfelt tributes underscored Chief (Mrs.) Akintade as an Amazon, whose dedication to her community and legacy of grace reflected a life lived with purpose and generosity.
