“I have seen this attack as a Wake-up Call to all OODU’A sons and daughters, irrespective of our religious or political linens, to be more united now more than before to defend our territories. Because In Unity Lies Strength.

“The attackers cum murderers had stirred the NEST of BEES and murdered sleep. According to Macbeth – “They will sleep no more”.

Iyalode Lawson, the women leader in the region also pointed out that, there was need for traditional rulers in the South-West, to come together with descendants of Oodua to fashion out ways to stop blood shedding in the zone

“There’s need for our traditional rulers to come together with the support of all descendants of OODU’A, men, women, young and old to STOP the BLOODSHED,  kidnapping, raping, maiming  etc now rampant in our region. It is Owo today, who knows whose turn next? God forbids!!!.

“On behalf of all Iyalodes and women of Yorubaland, both at home and in the Diaspora, I commiserate with  His Excellency,  the Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Akeredolu, his Executives, His Royal Majesty the Olowo of Owo, Iyalode of Owo and entire peaceful people of Ondo State on this aching and annoying attack.

“I want to advise that the government shouldnt leave no stone unturned and ensure the murderers are brought to book. We all need to gird your loins, especially women like Deborah of old to pray for PEACE to reign. The battle/attack on Yoruba race is not ours, but GOD’S’, Iyalode stressed.
