Only Rugged Politicians Win Elections In Nigeria –  Davido

Renowned Afrobeats artiste, David Adeleke, known as Davido, has shared his perspective on Nigerian elections, suggesting that the most “rugged” candidates emerge as winners.

          This statement was made on his X page (formerly Twitter), recently.

Davido’s tweet read, “Nigeria Election nah by who rugged pass.”

A curious follower inquired if his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State, also secured victory through ruggedness.

In response, Davido affirmed that “rugged men” were indeed in support of his uncle’s campaign.

The inquisitive user with the X handle @chief_ochuko posed the question in the comment section, “Na ruggedity ur uncle take win Abi?” To which Davido replied, “Men mount.”
