How Ondo PDP Chairman Dies After Suspension From Office

AKURE – Mr. Fatai Adams, the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State, has passed away under unclear circumstances.

Reports indicate that he died in the early hours of Wednesday, February 14, 2024.

Although details surrounding his death remain vague, sources have confirmed the unfortunate incident to the media.

Mr. Kennedy Peretei, the party’s state Publicity Secretary, acknowledged the occurrence and stated that the party would provide official communication to the media regarding the matter shortly.

“Yes, it is true, but we will soon communicate properly on the incident,” Peretei remarked.

It’s worth noting that just 42 days ago, the State Working Committee of the PDP in Ondo State had announced the suspension of Mr. Adams from his position.

The party had cited his alleged involvement in anti-party activities as the reason for his suspension.
