Olu Of Ilaro Congratulates Yewa Son, Daughter On National Appointments

ILARO-YEWA, OGUN STATE, NIGERIA – Oba (Dr.) Kehinde Gbadewole Olugbenle, Asade Agunloye IV, the Olu of Ilaro, Paramount Ruler of Yewaland and Chairman of the Ogun State Council of Obas, has extended heartfelt congratulations to two distinguished indigenes of Yewaland on their recent national appointments.

The monarch congratulated General Dele Shafa (rtd.) on his appointment as the National Arms Registrar at the Office of the National Security Adviser, National Centre for the Control of Small Arms and Light Weapons (NCCSALW).

Oba Olugbenle also felicitated Mrs. Morenike Adewunmi (née Ibikunle) on her well-deserved appointment as the Chief Relations Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.).

In a statement e-signed and released by ’Deola Adeyemi, Special Assistant to the Paramount Ruler on Media and Strategic Communications, Oba Olugbenle noted that “these appointments bring immense pride and honour to your families and to Yewaland, as you both continue to inspire the younger generation to aspire for greatness through hard work and patriotism.”

The Olu of Ilaro added, “As you take on these noble responsibilities in service to our dear nation, I pray for divine wisdom and guidance for you to excel in the discharge of your duties. Please accept my personal felicitations and the goodwill of the good people of Yewaland who rejoice with you on these remarkable milestones.”
