Ogun Speaker Oluomo Appoints Hon. Lateefat Ajayi, Chairman, Committee On Local Government & Chieftaincy Affairs

ABEOKUTA – The Speaker, Ogun State House of Assembly Rt Hon Speaker Olakunle Oluomo, has appointed Hon. Ajayi Bolanle Lateefat as the Chairman, Committee on Local Government & Chieftaincy Affairs.

Speaking on the floor of the House, on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, Hon. Bolanle Ajayi, representing Yewa South State Constituency at the House, thanked the Speaker and her colleagues for giving her a rare privilege to serve the good people of Ogun State.

Ajayi however promised to discharged her statutory duty as enshrine in the House rules and procedures.

Shortly after the appointment, Hon. Ajayi now read a bill on the Guildlines and Procedures for the Selection, Appointment and Recognition of Obas, Chiefs and Traditional Councils in Ogun State.

Her colleagues however supported the Bill for easy passage.
