Ogun NUJ Greets Muslims

ABEOKUTA – The Ogun State Council of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has congratulate all Muslims as they celebrate yet another Eid-Kabir.

According to a release e-signed and made available to StarTrend Int’l magazine & by Comrade Omolola Adeyinka, Chairman and Comrade Wale Oluokun, Secretary, the union also congratulate Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State and indeed the entire citizens of the state on this important spiritual engagement.

The leadership of the union in the state said this period offers Muslim faithfuls an opportunity for sober reflection on their individual relationship with Allah, as well as, for prayers of unity, mutual understanding, peaceful coexistence and religious tolerance amongst all citizens.

The union prayed that Allah in his infinite mercy will intervene in the problems bedevilling the country and restore the lost values amongst Nigerians.

The union has also enjoins all Nigerians to pray for all leaders as they work towards solving Nigeria’s security and developmental challenges.

The leadership of the union therefore, prayed for more peace and security of our country and appealed to all people of good conscience to join hands to defeat the evil going on in the country.
