In a release jointly signed by the President and the Secretary of ANCOPSS, Dr. (Mrs) Ayodele Womiloju and Mr. Oludare Shorinola respectively, noted that Pa. (Dr.) Emmanuel Adesanya Abiodun, fondly called by education stakeholders as Baba Teacher did not earn his popularity as Baba Teacher on a platter of gold, but by his rare virtues of strict self-discipline, hard work, dedication, and commitment with which he diligently carried out the duties of his chosen teaching profession, saying, “These legacies will no doubt outlive him.”
The release also indicated that Pa Abiodun lived a dedicated life worthy of emulation, impacted lives and thousands of students who passed through him are highly successful in their various endeavours and will continue to impact the humanity with the virtues Papa bestowed on them, adding that his contributions to humanity will definitely live on.
According to the release, “His Excellency, we thus commiserate you on the passing into glory of your loving and caring father and take solace in good legacy, Papa left behind for humanity as we would have loved that Papa still spend some time with us except that his time is up as forecast in Ecclesiastes 3 verses 1-2 thus: “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven: a time to be born and a time to die”.
ANCOPSS however pray that God in His infinite mercy will preserve Gov. Abiodun’s aged mother, Mrs. Victoria Abiodun and “uphold the entire family as well as grant our dear “Baba Teacher’s” soul eternal rest.”
