LAGOS, NIGERIA – Otunba Abiodun Adegbite, a distinguished entrepreneur, international business executive, and licensed immigration consultant, has been formally installed as the Aare Bobaseto of Oro Kingdom by the Oloro of Oro Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Joel Olaniyi Oyatoye, in recognition of his contributions to the growth and progress of the community.
The ceremony, held on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, in Oro Kingdom, Kwara State, attracted dignitaries from within and outside Nigeria.
Speaking at the event, Oba Oyatoye described Otunba Adegbite as “a complete gentleman” who has consistently supported the development of Oro Kingdom – hence the honour bestowed upon him.
The monarch explained that it is a standing policy of his palace to identify, appreciate, and celebrate individuals whose efforts promote the advancement of the town, while encouraging others to emulate them.
In his remarks, Otunba Adegbite expressed deep appreciation to Oba Oyatoye, the chiefs, and the entire people of Oro Kingdom for the recognition.
He assured the monarch and the community of his unwavering commitment to supporting initiatives that would drive the progress and prosperity of Oro Kingdom.
Otunba Adegbite also urged residents to rally behind the king in sustaining peace, unity, and development across the town.
He prayed for God’s continued guidance, protection, and blessings upon the royal family and the people of Oro Kingdom.
The event also featured the installation of Alhaji (Otunba) Abiola Kumoye, Chairman of the Nigerian Community Greater Manchester (NCGM), United Kingdom, as the Otunba Akinrogun of Oro Kingdom.
Otunba Adegbite is a seasoned business leader with an impressive track record across hospitality, accounting, and global advisory services.
He is the Chairman of Aqualink Hotel, Lagos, where he provides strategic leadership, helping to strengthen the brand’s footprint in Nigeria’s hospitality sector.
Otunba Adegbite also serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Aqualink Global Services in Canada, an accounting and advisory firm providing professional services in compliance, business support, and financial consultancy.
As a licensed immigration consultant, he offers expert guidance on immigration pathways, regulatory compliance, and cross-border mobility, particularly within the Canadian immigration system.
Academically, Otunba Adegbite holds a Master of Science (MSc) in International Relations from Lagos State University (LASU), a foundation that supports his competency in diplomacy, international affairs, and global governance.
