ILARO-YEWA, OGUN STATE, NIGERIA – The Olu of Ilaro and Paramount Ruler of Yewaland, Oba (Dr.) Kehinde Gbadewole Olugbenle, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Muslim faithful in Yewaland, Ogun State, and Nigeria as a whole on the commencement of this year’s Ramadan fasting.
In a statement from his palace in Ilaro-Yewa, and shared with StarTrend Int’l magazine and online platforms, Oba Olugbenle expressed his royal goodwill, emphasizing the sacred nature of the month.
“As the blessed month of Ramadan begins, I extend my heartfelt royal greetings to all Muslims. This is a sacred time of reflection, devotion, and unity, a period when we seek Allah’s mercy, guidance, and blessings.”
The monarch offered prayers for divine favour, saying, “I pray that Allah (SWT) accepts our fasts, forgives our shortcomings, and grants us peace, prosperity, and divine favor. May our sacrifices and prayers bring blessings upon our land and strengthen the spirit of love and harmony among us.”
Oba Olugbenle concluded his message with warm wishes, hoping for a peaceful and spiritually fulfilling Ramadan for all.
