Oba Olugbenle Promises To Encourage Yewa People To Excel In Their Various Endeavours

…Promotes Town & Gown Partnership, Attends 20th Convocation Of FPI In Grand Style

ILARO-YEWA – The Olu of Ilaro & Paramount Ruler of Yewaland, Oba (Dr.) Kehinde Gbadewole Olugbenle MFR, on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 graced the 20th Convocation of the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro with his royal presence.

Oba Olugbenle who attended the colourful ceremony accompanied by some Obas and Chiefs disclosed that his attendance was to further consolidate the cordial and symbiotic relationship between the Polytechnic and the Ilaro community, in particular, and Yewaland, in general.

The monarch also expressed his happiness that two prominent sons of Yewaland, Senator Olamilekan Adeola and Otunba Wasiu Taiwo, were honoured at the ceremony.

While Senator Adeola (Yayi) was honoured as a Fellow of the Polytechnic, Otunba Taiwo (Wessy Creations) was given Special Recognition Award for Outstanding Partnership with the Polytechnic.

Oba Olugbenle, who himself has been honoured as a Fellow of the Polytechnic, assured that he would continue to encourage Yewa people to excel in their various endeavours.
